General Prohibited Items
● Aerosols: Includes spray paints, deodorants, insecticides, and other pressurized canisters that are highly flammable.
● Alcoholic Beverages: All forms, including beer, wine, spirits, and liquors, regardless of alcohol content.
● Animals and Animal Products: Prohibits live animals, carcasses, ivory, furs, and skins; excludes processed pet foods and leather goods.
● Antiques and Fine Art: Items over 100 years old or culturally significant, which may require special export permits.
Food and Agricultural Products
● Plant and Seed Products: Prohibits live plants, seeds, agricultural seeds, and ornamental plants to prevent pest and disease spread.
● Perishable Foods and Dairy: Includes meat, fish, dairy, and other quickly spoiling foods. Meat products manufactured outside the U.S. are also restricted.
● Hemp and Cannabis Products: Prohibits all products containing Tetrahydrocannabinols (THC), including hemp-based cosmetics, food, and clothing.
● Personal Imports of Pet Food: Restricted to imports only from the U.S. due to health regulations.

Important Notice:
Transbest will no longer accept items that are improperly packed, such as those in paper bags, or packages without a valid shipping label. Any items sent to our U.S. facility in paper bags will be automatically disposed of. This policy ensures the safe handling and transport of packages while maintaining compliance with CBSA regulations.
Additionally, misdeclaration or inaccuracies in item descriptions or declared values will result in a $300 penalty and the permanent suspension of your account. Such actions may also lead to penalties or more severe consequences from CBSA. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and other items may also be prohibited.
